Imagine if we called ourselves Ambassadors for Christ.
I wonder how many of us would be more beneficial for the Kingdom?
That might depend on how much flesh we walk in,
Or maybe how we treated others.
Even though we are not called Ambassadors for Christ, that is what we are.
Jesus sees us differently than we see ourselves.
If we pat ourselves on the back, Jesus may not be pleased.
On the contrary, when we are not counting ourselves worthy,
Jesus considers all things and He sees our hearts and our intentions.
This is not a thought where we should riddle ourselves with guilt.
We are each individuals and have our talents and abilities.
This is just a thought to consider how important we are to the Kingdom
and to not to lessen our importance to God or to the Kingdom of God.
Jesus wants to use each of us for His glory.
He knows how to use each of us.
If we consider ourselves Ambassadors,
we can realize the importance of our representation of Jesus and His word.
Though we will never be perfect,
walking humbly with grace and mercy is a good place to start,
while representing Jesus on Earth with our fellow mortals.
From Britannica Ambassador is defined as: the highest-ranking person
who represents his or her own government while living in another country
Do we honor the Lord the best we can?
Do we keep ourselves clean in the sight of the Lord,
to remember that we are representatives of Christ?
We serve The Living God who is there to help us in all of our failings.
We are Ambassadors, or at the very least, Representatives:
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?
for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said,
I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God,
and they shall be My people. Wherefore come out from among them,
and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing;
and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you,
and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
