You are welcome to come before the Throne
of the God of the Universe,
The Maker of Heaven and Earth
He is waiting
The door is open
The time is short
Come before the Throne while you can
Unload your burdens
Let Him cleanse your heart and make you a new creation
Don’t fret
Give your worries to Him
For He says my yoke is easy and my burden is light
and you will find rest for your souls:
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30
Jesus is constantly searching the earth
for hearts perfect toward Him 2 Chronicles 16:9
What does that mean?
The perfection God is looking for is different from what we might think
It is a heart yielded to Him
Humble before Him
One who realizes He is the Maker of Heaven
and Earth and nothing is too difficult for Him
A life who has chosen Him freely
One who does their best to obey His commandments
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. John 15:14
Who has asked for the cleansing of His powerful blood
and believed that He was raised from the dead
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light,
we have fellowship one with another,
and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 1:7
Trusting Him is sometimes hard
It goes against what we see and know
Our flesh bowing before Him can be an effort,
especially when we are used to living our life the way we want
and have been in charge of our own lives and doing we choose
The first step is always the hardest
That is the one where we find who He is
and hand over our lives which seem so significant to us
There will be a time when that door to His Throne is no longer open
Where He will say to some, “I never knew you”
For many will wait until it’s too late
Putting off God is never a good idea
This can also be a Christian, who has one foot in the world,
one who has not quite given their life fully to the Lord
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Isaiah 55:6
Because I have called, and ye refused;
I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; Proverbs 1:24
There will be a day when it will be too late for some
I cannot tell you that day, only God knows
Seek Him while you can
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Proverbs 28:13
There is lots of room at the Throne,
The Lord Himself has extended an invitation to you
