And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel,
and that I am the Lord your God, and none else:
and My people shall never be ashamed. Joel 2:27
God said that multiple times: And ye shall know that I am the Lord.
It was usually to His prophets, when He was about to do a Mighty Work
or after He had spoken to people to warn them
of coming judgment and pending devastation.
It was often prior to something God was going to do
to show the people He is the Lord.
God’s people have a tendency to forget God.
I was at my sink this morning and thinking about a friend of many years.
He has refused the Lord. He was raised in a Christian home.
He did not like the gospel or appreciate it.
I asked the Lord about the coming judgment and thought of that friend.
The Lord said to me, even he shall know that I am the Lord.
It is time for the Lord to show the world who He is, His awesome wonder,
marvelous in power and mighty in deeds.
Those who have refused to listen to His voice calling out to them,
those who have refused to acknowledge that He is Lord,
will soon see that Jesus is Lord.
We are living in God’s world.
He created us.
Though He has given the world over to Satan to be the god of this world,
God still is the One who runs things.
We are still guests here.
We can’t push God aside and do what we want. His universe, His rules.
Ye shall do My judgments, and keep Mine ordinances, to walk therein:
I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 18:4
When God has chosen to do mighty works,
whether for His people or against enemies,
they will know that the work is from the Lord.
It will cause a restlessness and a fear,
even for those who do not know the Lord.
These times are warning times for any who would still repent.
Pray for your fellow humans to hear His voice calling them
and to respond to His Spirt, for the night is coming when no man can work.
I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day:
the night cometh, when no man can work. John 9:4
God will have the last word:
And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves,
O My people, and brought you up out of your graves, Ezekiel 37:13
