The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him.
Lamentations 3:22-24
The mercies of the Lord are new every morning
We should take that example in our lives
and let bygones be bygones
with those who have offended us
and be like the Lord
Jesus is our example
He forgave the most wretched sinners,
the very ones who were shouting at the top of their lungs to Crucify Him,
the very people who wanted to release a criminal
and who wanted the very Messiah, The King of Kings and Lord of Lords,
the One whose shoes John the Baptist
said he was not even worthy to unloose
The crowds shouted for Jesus to be crucified
And yet, He forgave them
as our example of love toward mankind
as our example of letting Him love through us
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own,
is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 1 Corinthians 13:5
