Jesus warned us about deception
He told us not to be deceived in the last days
He said there would be false Christs and false prophets
who would do great signs and wonders
When Aaron lifted up his staff and it became a snake,
they were before the Pharoah and the Magicians of Egypt
and other wicked people who were able to do the same wonder,
but Aaron’s snake ate all of their serpents
For they cast down every man his rod,
and they became serpents:
but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. Exodus 7:12
God will show us where He is,
He will also show us the difference between His miracles
and those who are counterfeits
If, that is, if, we love the truth
There are many who cannot see
Just because someone proclaims Christ does not mean they are from God
The demons in Hell believe and tremble
We shall know them by their fruit
In Matthew 24, Jesus gave us these many warnings:
And Jesus answered and said unto them,
“Take heed that no man deceive you; v 4
for many shall come in My name, saying,
‘I am Christ,’ and shall deceive many. v 5
As the time draws near, Satan will have more power
and he will be given authority even over the saints as the Lord allows
Some of us will be hated
Some of us will be killed
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted,
and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. v9
Some of us will suffer severe persecution
And then shall many lose faith
and shall betray one another and shall hate one another. v10
We may be betrayed by our most treasured loved ones
And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. v 11
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. v12
Then if any man shall say unto you,
‘Lo, here is Christ,’ or ‘there,’ believe it not. v23
For there shall arise false christs and false prophets
and shall show great signs and wonders,
insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. v24
Behold, I have told you before. v25
Therefore, if they shall say unto you,
‘Behold, He is in the desert!’ go not forth;
or ‘Behold, He is in the secret chambers!’ believe it not. v26
This is how Jesus said He will return:
For as the lightning cometh out of the east and shineth even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. v27
Knowing the times and the seasons
There are many signs given in scripture, here are a few:
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be
darkened and the moon shall not give her light,
and the stars shall fall from heaven
and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken, v29
Again, right here, He tells us how He will return:
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven.
And then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn,
and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven
with power and with great glory. v30
It goes along with Revelation 1:7
Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him,
and they also which pierced Him:
and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Here is one more important warning:
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. v42

Ye shall know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit;

Matthew 7:16-17
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion,
that they should believe a lie: 2 Thessalonians 2:10-11
And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren,
and kinsfolks, and friends;
and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
Luke 21:16
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer:
behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison,
that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days:
be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
