Be like Noah who listened to the Lord
and prepared for the flood that was nowhere in sight
Be like Lot, who, when He was warned by the angels
that his city would be destroyed
Lot was spared even though he had to leave all behind

Lot lingered, but Lot’s wife looked back.
Do not be like Lot’s wife who looked back at what she was giving up
Jesus mentioned her: Remember Lot’s wife. Luke 17:32
But his wife looked back from behind him,

The Ten virgins 5 wise and 5 foolish Matthew 25:1-13
Be like the 5 virgins who were ready,
who had their lamps filled with oil which signifies the things of God,
in particular, the Holy Spirit and His fulness
Now learn a parable of the fig tree;
When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves,
ye know that summer is nigh:
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things,
know that it is near, even at the doors.

If you listen, you can hear
The Spirit is warning those who are listening
And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. Mark 4:9
The time is very close
The sun is setting
The door is closing
We are to put off the things of the world and give God our very best
And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable,
and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2
Thee is a great deception coming on the earth,
in fact, it is already here and is getting stronger with each passing day
There will be a great falling away
Some will leave the faith and brother will betray brother unto death
And except those days should be shortened,
there should no flesh be saved:
but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:22
Jesus is speaking of very severe conditions
We need to prepare our hearts and seek God’s wisdom every day
so we can be prepared like the 5 Wise Virgins, before the door closes
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day:
the night cometh, when no man can work. John 9:4
