Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee:
He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22
Our burdens are hard to give up.
We may like to be in control, so, it is difficult to let God take care of things.
We also struggle with trying to fix things, instead of trusting God to do His will.
Famous kings have had difficulties surrendering things to the Lord Jesus,
even when they knew Him.
There were many in the Bible who are good examples of trusting in the Lord.
That part is not always easy.
Jesus was a good example, but we are not Jesus.
We are flesh and not God.
If we have His Spirit living within us if we have allowed Him to do so.
We might know what to do, but how to do it?
Easy to say, not so easy to do.
Some make us feel bad.
We are told in the Bible to trust God many times and never to fear.
That is true, but how do we get there?
Don’t be so hard on yourself.
Jesus is there to meet you, to teach you, to guide you to The End.
Jesus beckons us to come and walk with Him, to partake of His ways.
It is not something that comes naturally to humans.
It is against what we are naturally inclined to do.
Little by little, step by step, day by day.
Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30
