Come one, come all, lay down your burdens
at the foot of the One who loves you with an everlasting love
Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee:
He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22
This morning, I was considering all of my worries
All the things I need to deal with
I’m glad God doesn’t answer how people would
People most likely would say, Jesus said not to worry.
Yes, of course He did, but who needs to hear that when they’re worrying?
Jesus always says the right thing, at just the right moment
“Lord, there are so many things to worry about.”
He said to me, “Cast your budens on the Lord for He careth for you.”
He reminded me to give Him my worries
He cares about the things that afflict me and He has the answers
and He will work them out and take care of them
Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7
Some people think God doesn’t care about every little thing
or that He’s too busy
Not true
Think of the Lord who created each grain of sand
Or the intricacies of a cell, even the cell of a plant
How each and every creature or mountain or drop of water has its place
So, something that bothers you, bothers Him
Let Him take care of it, whatever it is, whatever they are
Big or little, loud of quiet, give Him your cares, your worries
He is able
Spend some time in the Psalms of David
King David was able to trust that the Lord cared about him,
and that really is the bottom line
If we know and realize that Jesus cares about us,
He also cares about each thing we are concerned about
and He will provide the answer to our dilemmas
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. Psalm 32:7
