Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
Darkness is of great interest to some
They will read and study and engage in things that are abominable to the Lord
I have heard some say they need to know so they can battle
That is a lie from the enemy
Engaging in darkness unless Christ is at the center will lead you nowhere good
Everything we need to know about darkness is in the Word of God
Some of us have gone to that world and learned more about darkness,
either before we were Christians or from another person
who shared their testimony, but to seek it out and engage in it
will leave us high and dry
Without Jesus in the mix,
we could very well end up like the Seven Sons of Sceva,
when one man overtook seven men
who were not operating in the power of God, but on their own merit
And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests,
which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said,
Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them,
and overcame them, and prevailed against them,
so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. Acts 19:14-16
By interest in Satan, you may just find out what he is thinking
and he is very crafty, we risk being deceived
Focus on Jesus, always, in all things and do not get caught up in darkness
The bible never said there was no power in darkness
And, trying to operate without God’s blessing is not going to turn out well
