Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
Sometimes thinking on the lovely and good things is a hard task.
It depends on how prepared we are, how quickly our ability to bounce back, how much work God has been able to do in our life, our personality and a host of other reasons.
It can be tough.
Sometimes it can be attacks or intentional from an unkind person and it can be a matter of submitting to the Lord, resisting the devil so he will flee.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
Moving on, letting it go, not getting tangled in the mess, not concentrating on the bad can help us to gain the victory of following the Lord in each situation and keeping our eyes on His goodness and the blessings we have.
Count your blessings.
