Covering a Multitude of Sins

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves:
for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8

Cover, don’t expose
Forgive
Forgive those who sin against God
Forgive those who sin against you
Let them be
God is their judge
He will deal with them
Vengeance belongs to Him and Him alone

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves,
but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written,
Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Romans 12:19

Show grace
Pray
Cover them with love
Keep bitterness far from your heart
because it will suck you in and make you its slave
It will torment you and fester in your soul until you are ruined,
lest you release it to God who doeth all things well:
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God;
lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you,
and thereby many be defiled
; Hebrews 12:15

Keep in mind what God has done for you
and that His grace extends to anyone who asks for it in Truth
Jesus came to help the sinners and the sick among us
He told us to go into the highways and byways and compel them to come in
His grace can reach the darkest sin and cleanse it with His blood
Be careful not to condemn others to Hell
for you shall be judged by the same measure

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged:
and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Matthew 7:2

Love covers a multitude of sin
Remember when Jesus was dying on the cross He said,
Father forgive them for they know not what they do
Let us utter the same words and keep His love and forgiveness in our hearts
