In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by Him;
and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness;
and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:1-5
Jesus has to reveal Himself to you, otherwise He will make no sense.
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness;
but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18
Those in darkness cannot comprehend the gospel.
It is impossible without The Revelation of Jesus Christ.
He is the One who opens eyes and reveals.
He is the door.
I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved,
and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9
Jesus is the only way, the only door, the way , the truth and the life.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. John 14:6
The darkness cannot understand neither can it tolerate the light.
He opens eyes, allows us to see and does not allow others to see.
It is hard to understand why He chooses some and not others.
The only thing that makes sense is that God looks on the heart.
And if you remember what Abraham said to the rich man
who was in Hell in torment:
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father,
that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them,
lest they also come into this place of torment.
Abraham saith unto him,
They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him,
If they hear not Moses and the prophets,
neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. Luke 16:27-31
In other words, Jesus was saying, let them search the scriptures themselves.
If they don’t hear what He has already written,
they will not be persuaded any other way.
So, in this hour, as we draw closer to The End,
you may feel unwelcome on this Earth.
We are filled with His light and we glorify Jesus the Messiah.
That is our purpose, to reflect His light, to be witnesses of Jesus.
Uncomfortable as it may be at times, we are right where we are supposed to be, letting our lights shine so that our Father may be glorified.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16
