In the dream, I was with a bible teacher, John Haller, who teaches biblical prophecy. We were asked by this 10-year-old girl’s family to watch this girl for a while and help her to learn about the things of God. We were walking around, teaching her things and spending time with her to help her become more learned.
There we were, several blocks away from her house. She just collapsed into a deep slumber. She fell asleep. She could not be roused.
We had stopped by the teacher’s house because it was close, encouraging her to walk and, finally, carrying the girl to his house. We made it to the porch. We were stuck. We had to wait for the girl to wake up so she could walk home or hope that his wife would get there so the girl could be driven home. We were wasting time since this girl was fast asleep and we could not teach her anything.
She would not wake up and she needed to walk back to where her family was. We would not be able to carry a 10-year-old girl that far to take her home. At first, he would have been able to, but then she would have become unbearably heavy. so, that was not an option. She was dead weight. We tried unsuccessfully to awaken her.
Interpretation:
The teacher represents any End Times teacher, knowing there is not much time left to awaken and reach as many people as possible with the message. I represented the few in the Christian church who are awake and aware of what is coming. The girl represented the church: Very immature, unlearned, not awake, not aware or concerned about what is coming. The family members of the girl are the teachers and pastors in the church who are not warning the people and just letting them fend for themselves to figure things out.
The frustrating part was that this girl needed to remain awake as there were many other people to try to help and she needed to learn so she could help, too. We were wasting time with this girl who did not seem to be interested in what we were trying to tell her when she was awake and even fell asleep in the midst of our efforts to teach her.
