Deceitful Lies

Deceitful Lies
Dutiful righteousness
That comes with pretending to be God

Those who practice dutiful righteousness have elevated themselves
They have decided what is right and wrong,
what pleases the Lord and what doesn’t
and what He wants of us or doesn’t
Another word for it is self-righteousness
That is becoming n authority over others

Pointing out sin is good if it is mentioned in the Bible and it is done in love,
that is, as long as it is done with the nurture and admonition of the Lord
Without God’s Love, we are clanging cymbals or sounding brass
Our words are empty and our points are not by His Holy Spirit,
but rather in the fleshly wisdom we acquire as humans,
which is not the same as the wisdom from the Holy Spirit

We must walk in love
Our end goal must be aligned with Jesus to bring others to the Lord,
regardless of their sin
If they turn to the Lord, who are we to turn them away?
We have no right to do anything but help them,
help them to bow before the Lord in reverence, no matter their condition

When Jesus heard it, He saith unto them,
They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick:
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Mark 2:17

Jesus is kind to the wicked
He was kind and is still kind through us
We can see His kindness when He was on the cross:
Father forgive them for they know not what they do
Weep not for Me, but weep for yourselves and your children
Or when Paul was in prison and he had compassion on the guards and took his stripes with grace, not laying the charge on them
Or when Stephen was being stoned to death,
Lord, lay not this charge upon them
We do not have a right to demonstrate God’s wrath
We can express God’s disappointment or turn away from wickedness
We are admonished to walk in love and grace and mercy and humility

But love ye your enemies, and do good and lend,
hoping for nothing in return; and your reward shall be great,
and ye shall be the children of the Highest;
for He is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Luke 6:35

Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling,

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,
and thy house.
