Much of what you see is theatre.
Deception is thick.
The truth is in Jesus’ word.
Make your choice now for deception will get thicker
and you will not be able to see your way out.
Cling to Jesus.
Put His words above your own thoughts.
Be humble before Him, the Rock of our Salvation.
The Lord is gracious and merciful to those who look to Him:
And therefore will the Lord wait, that He may be gracious unto you,
and therefore will He be exalted, that He may have mercy upon you:
for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for Him.
For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem:
thou shalt weep no more:
He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry;
when He shall hear it, He will answer thee.
And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity,
and the water of affliction,
yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more,
but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying,
This is the way, walk ye in it,
when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Isaiah 30:18-21
His Spirit will say, This is the way, walk ye in it.
Heed that instruction, let it become a part of you.
The closer we walk to Jesus, the farther we will want to be from the world.
From the Hymn, Turn Your Eyes upon Jesus:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace.
The times will get harder to remain close to the Lord
if there is a weak foundation in your relationship,
mainly because the deception is so strong.
If we are not strong in the Lord, it will be harder to see things His way.
Heed His call to draw near to Him now and strengthen your spirit in Him.
Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you.
Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you:
for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. John 12:35
