And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said,
I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.
And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
1 Kings 22:22
You can’t just like someone and like their words and call it good.
If they hit the truth on the head 90% of the time. That is not enough.
What about 99% of the time? Not enough.
Do not lay down the Word and trust anyone no matter how great they are.
Test everything everyone says according to the Word of God.
Pray and fast if need be, but seek the Lord if you see a glimmer of error.
Always measure every word to the Word of God.
While there is a gift of discernment, we do not all have that.
In that case, we need to seek God and ask for His wisdom.
Staying in His Word and allow it to become a part of us
so that we will recognize error.
There is a man who is a pastor who operates in the gift of prophecy on YouTube.
Most everything I have seen from him has been truth.
Today, there was an older message he had where there was error.
I asked him about it and he deleted my comment instead of responding.
Originally, he liked another comment and then removed his like.
I am waiting on another comment.
His word strayed from the Word of God. That is never acceptable.
The hearts of man can be easily deceived
and can be an instrument to deceive others.
Accept no deception, even if the person shares mostly truth.
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. James 2:10
A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Galatians 5:9
Just like: One bad apple spoils the bunch.
Stay away from deception and error. Do not allow it to enter your soul.
If you do, seek the Lord for a cleansing and a realization of what was wrong. Always love the truth, always seek the clarity of His Word, and discernment.
Keep Jesus and His Word elevated and lifted up.
