Dividing Asunder

That is happening now in the spiritual realm
The word asunder means to break apart
Division has been happening in our world
Even the unsaved can feel it
The right from the wrong
The good from the bad
The evil from the righteous
The sheep from the goats
The wheat from the tares
Dividing is part of the prophecies in both the old and new testaments
Jesus talked of it
He also caused types of division throughout the bible
starting with Cain and Abel all the way through to Revelation

People have always had choices
The times now allow us to see
the difference between those who serve God
and those who serve another god or their own flesh and desires
Particularly with respect to The End Times
Jesus spoke in parables often
This subject is no different
We can find the Parable of the Ten Virgins
which tells of five wise who kept Jesus as their priority
and five who were foolish,
who forgot the importance of the things of God
The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares is written below
There are other Parables in the Word of God which show how God is faithful to those who are faithful to Him and to those who aren’t,
well, they may just hear, Depart from Me, I never knew you! Matthew 7:23

Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor,
and gather his wheat into the garner;
but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Matthew 3:12

And before him shall be gathered all nations:
and he shall separate them one from another,
as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: Matthew 25:32

The dividing will continue, so don’t be alarmed,
keep your heart clean and pure before God
Pray and forgive and love those who offend you
as well as those who are offended by you and the Word of God you share

Cling to the Lord
and to those He puts in your path to strengthen you in Him
He is the only One we can trust to take care of us
And He is the only One worthy of our trust

Behold, I come quickly:
hold that fast which thou hast,
that no man take thy crown. Revelation 3:11

Scriptural References:

When the Son of man shall come in his glory,
and all the holy angels with him,
then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations:
and he shall separate them one from another,
as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Matthew 21:35-33

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, T
he kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man
which sowed good seed in his field:
But while men slept, his enemy came
and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
But when the blade was sprung up,
and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him,
Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field?
from whence then hath it tares?
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this.
The servants said unto him,
Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares,
ye root up also the wheat with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest:
and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers,
Gather ye together first the tares,
and bind them in bundles to burn them:
but gather the wheat into my barn.
Matthew 25:24-30

The father shall be divided against the son,
and the son against the father;
the mother against the daughter,
and the daughter against the mother;
the mother in law against her daughter in law,
and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Luke 12:53
