Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?
this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven,
shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven. Acts 1:11
We have all been given talents
We have been given a purpose, at least one, as we dwell on earth
Jesus wants us to dedicate all to Him
If we choose to follow Him, He will require certain things of each of us
No one else can tell you what He requires of you
There are many specifics listed in the Bible,
commands that Jesus gave and instructions to help us to follow Him,
even so, we are to cultivate our relationship with Him
We never want to be lazy in our relationship with Jesus
Let us realize that one day we are going to meet Jesus face to face,
to give account for how we have spent our life
And now, little children, abide in Him; that,
when He shall appear, we may have confidence,
and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 1 John 2:28
It is of utmost importance to find out, while in the midst of our time on earth,
whether or not we are pleasing God on our individual walks
This do, while we still have a chance to get on track and complete our mission
For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given;
and from him that hath not,
even that he hath shall be taken away from him. Luke 19:26
Better to know now than find out we’ve been missing something
than to find out when we meet Him face to face
And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds,
and said unto them, Occupy till I come. Luke 19:13
