We walk on two different paths
They are not the same
The path believers walk on is a narrow road
Few find it
Few choose to walk it
Few choose to endure it
It’s not an easy road
He says, take My yoke upon you for My yoke is easy
and My burden is light and you shall find rest for your souls
When is your road easy, Lord?
There’s a song line that has been playing in my mind lately
“What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer”
Maybe that’s it
The burdens we bear are light if we give them to Him
Not if we hang onto them
They weigh us down
His strength is made perfect in our weakness
but we must relinquish things to Him
Keep walking and not get distracted
so we can keep on the path that He has laid out for us
If you are trying to walk this path with a non believer,
how much more trying it will be
it’s almost like we’re in two different worlds
They can not comprehend the spiritual because their eyes have been hidden
We can see the spiritual world and the significance of following Jesus
as He has shown us who He is
Our path is foolishness to them
Unless and until they have come to the Way, the Truth and the Life,
there is no chance that we will meet on the same level
We can meet in this world and that is it
Shallowness
I prefer the divine
I can touch those who are blinded on the level they are bound to
But not on a spiritual level
So pray for their eyes to be opened and for them to see Jesus
Until they do, it is impossible to walk on the same path
since we aren’t reaching for the same goals
Though we will still be able to reach out to people along the way
An example where we can meet those in darkness is love
Love is of God and people do enjoy that part of God
Worldly love is a different kind of love than God’s love
which is pure, full and unconditional
It still seems to be built into most humans, even animals
and is a lovely expression in the world as God created it
All the better if we can exemplify God’s love to them
The beauty of God is all around them,
those who are seeking will find Him
because the witness of His existence is everywhere
