Watch ye therefore, and pray always,
that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things
that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36
Don’t assume that you are worthy. Jesus said pray always and watch.
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast,
that no man take thy crown. Revelation 3:11
Keep your hand on that plough.
Don’t look back.
Remember Lot’s wife. Luke 17:37
It’s quite troubling that so many people
have given themselves the rights to this or that.
What we are given from God is by God’s grace, including salvation,
not by any such rights that we deserve. It’s called humility.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things,
be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace,
without spot, and blameless. 2 Peter 3:1
