There are quite a few characters in the Bible whose fate is not pretty
I suppose they may have repented at the last minute
but scriptures do not tell us that that was the case
Judas
Jezebel
Ahab
The crowd who shouted , “Crucify Him, Crucify Him!”
Jesus did not allow everyone to see Him for who He was
He still doesn’t
It is a mystery to us
Therefore speak I to them in parables:
because they seeing see not;
and hearing they hear not,
neither do they understand. Matthew 13:13
And Simon Peter answered and said,
Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And Jesus answered and said unto him,
Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona:
for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee,
but my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 16:16-17
If your eyes have been opened to see who Jesus truly is, you are blessed
All things are delivered to me of my Father:
and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father;
and who the Father is, but the Son,
and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately,
Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:
For I tell you, that many prophets and kings
have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them;
and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
Luke 10:.22-24
Never take that blessing, of being able to know Who Jesus is, for granted
There were two thieves being crucified with Jesus,
one saw Who He truly was, the other did not
God sees our hearts
He knows if we are open to Him
He knows if we are interested in Him
He knows if pride rules in our life or if we are willing to submit to Him
Predestination is spoken of in the word
Even so, our focus should always be on Jesus
and not on trying to figure out
who is or who isn’t going to make it to heaven
We just need to be obedient,
to listen to what He is directing us to say and do
We need to respond to what He shows us
God did not make robots, we are made in His image and likeness
So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God created he him;
male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27
Each of us has a choice
Somewhere along the line
we have chosen or will choose our ultimate destiny
to be with God or to be without God for all of Eternity
but that is only after He has chosen us John 15:16
Choose Him
Always choose Jesus
Because Eternity is a very long time
