Everything we do Matters

We can get more specific
Each moment matters
Each choice
Each decision
Each direction
Each way and how you spend your time, with whom you spend your time

When Jesus walked on this earth,
He was a carpenter up until It was His time to minister
There was always another way to spend His time,
but He chose to please His Father
The first account we have of who He was was when He was 12
He was preaching in the synagogue
He was always close to God
When John the Baptist’s mother, Elizabeth and Mary were both with child, the scripture tells us John leapt inside the womb when he got near to Jesus who was inside Mary’s womb
Jesus has always been Lord
Jesus Christ, the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Have you ever met a janitor or an attendant
who spoke of the Lord while they worked?
It seems those who have higher positions
are more concerned with being professional
than they are with sharing the gospel
I suppose that is what it means when He said:
So the last shall be first, and the first last:
for many be called, but few chosen. Matthew 20:16

Each day that we walk on earth is important
Sometimes it feels like the days just fly by
and what have we done for the Lord?
We might’ve prayed or helped someone which pleases God,
had compassion, given of ourselves, maybe more than we realize
No matter what it was, it furthered the Kingdom of God
and God will remember each way we spent our time

We also know we can increase,
increase in our obedience to God
and allowing Him to take over more of our lives
He must increase, but I must decrease. John 3:30
We learn as we grow and we grow as we learn
Keeping God in our thoughts and remembering to pray without ceasing
will help us realize that we have the direct line of communication to God
He’s always listening to us, we should do the same

Additional Scriptures:

And Mary arose in those days,
and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;
And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary,
the babe leaped in her womb;
and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
And she spake out with a loud voice, and said,
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
And whence is this to me,
that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears,
the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
And blessed is she that believed:
for there shall be a performance of those things
which were told her from the Lord. Luke 1:39-45

And when he was twelve years old,
they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned,
the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem;
and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
And when they found him not,
they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them,
and asking them questions.
And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
And when they saw him, they were amazed:
and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us?
behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me?
wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?
And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth,
and was subject unto them:
but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Luke 2:42-52
