Our world is in the midst of chaos.
Wars and rumors of wars, protests and demonstrations against them.
Eyes on Jesus and we will find peace.
There are changes in our world system that are leading to The Beast System.
There are people in leadership working against the will of God.
There are those who are rising in power who fight for the enemy,
the New World system with all it entails.
Keep your eyes on Jesus.
We can find in the word different situations
that God allowed for His people to go through.
He always came through for them.
Noah was an example.
Noah listened to the Lord and he was spared.
Abraham knew what was coming for Sodom and Gomorrah,
He prayed for Lot and God answered by sending His angels for Lot
and those in his family who would listen.
Powerful prayers that Abraham petitioned to the Lord
on behalf of Lot and his city.
Abraham’s eyes were on the Lord.
The disciples needed to keep their eyes on Jesus
in the ship that was being tossed to and fro while Jesus slept.
They started looking at the waves.
The storm was so severe, they thought their ship might break apart.
And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship,
so that it was now full.
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow:
and they awake him, and say unto Him,
Master, carest thou not that we perish?
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful?
how is it that ye have no faith?
And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another,
What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
Mark 4:37-41
Jesus showed them His might and power
which helped them to keep their eyes on Him.
He has to do that sometimes for us.
Like Thomas:
The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord.
But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails,
and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. John 20:25
Let us not consider ourselves better than Thomas.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen,
and yet have believed. John 20:29
All of us now who believe have not seen and yet believed,
but let us not boast about our faith.
Our faith is in Jesus and belongs to Him, not us.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;
who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross,
despising the shame,
and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
