Fearing God Plus Loving the Truth

When do we stop fearing God?
The answer to that is: Never
He is our Father
Our reverence and admiration of Him should be permanent
We know He is God and can and will send people to Eternal Damnation
It is by His grace and mercy that we will not get cast into the Lake of Fire
Appreciate that

If you have a thought that is irreverent, don’t hide it from Him,
present it to Him in humility before Him and let Him teach you the truth
We are encouraged to love the truth
Jesus is the Truth
If you go on judging the way you see fit, you will miss who He is
and His awesome power will not be apparent to you

For us to put our thoughts higher than God’s thoughts is an abomination
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are My ways higher than your ways,
and My thoughts than your thoughts
. Isaiah 55:8-9
To decide that we do not like something He says is okay,
but to choose to put our opinions above God’s word is an abomination
Ideally, asking God to help you see things His way, is an act of humility

Those who put their thoughts above God’s thoughts
will one day be kneeling before His throne begging for mercy
and zero arguments will stand against God’s word
So, even if you don’t like something the Bible says,
Wisdom, the fear of the Lord, would say to submit to His word
and let God be God
We cannot change anything He has said or change anything about Him,
for us to try to do that is futile

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words
in this adulterous and sinful generation;
of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed,
when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels. Mark 8:38

Scriptural References:

because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2 Thessalonians 2:10

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
John 14:6
