Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Look for the blessings of the Lord
They are always there for those who believe
and sometimes when God is drawing souls to Himself,
trying to reach out to them by His Holy Spirit
Some blessings are big, some small, some surprising
Do you have a relationship in distress?
Maybe something is wrong or maybe it needs a rest
Seek the Lord and look for the blessings
Maybe He wants you to reach out to others
or maybe He wants you to spend more time with Him
Look for the beautiful things Jesus is doing in your life
Sometimes we can value the wrong things, like the things of the world
That can make the blessings dim
Very often our blessings are heavenly, spiritual
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.
If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes,
and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:15-16
People often confuse blessings with provision
They get a nice house or a new car and they say, I am blessed
That is not necessarily the case
God’s blessings are different than God’s provision
and confusing God’s blessings with material things is common
Very often the reason someone has such nice things
is because they value money and work to get those things
Each of us will give account of how we used our abilities to help others
Whether we used our talents or money to further the gospel
or on fleshly pleasures
Look for the blessings money can’t buy
Jesus is good at those
