Finding the Lost

How do we find the lost?
How can we please You as we do Your work, Lord?
We must care about them first.
Realize that Your heart aches for them
and You would like us to reach out to them on Your behalf.
They are everywhere, yet they are not always searching for You.
How to create that hunger inside of them to learn of You?
To salt just enough that there is a desire?
To love, to care, to demonstrate Your character as much as we are able.
You said If I be truly lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me.
To apply Your truths doesn’t always seem to work
because many walk away or argue as they have not grasped them
or they do not like them.
Our flesh does not profit anything,
no matter how hard we try
or how good our intentions may be.
It is the Spirit that gives life.
We must remain humble in You,
realizing that it is not what we do,
but Your Spirit who chooses to use us as a vessel,
as a port to bring them to You so You can continue to teach them.
It is not of ourselves
and not always easy for us to remain neutral with You at the helm,
going whithersoever You will.
Give us true love, Your love for the people who don’t yet know You,
remembering that through someone else, we ourselves came to You.

EDITED:
Very shortly after I posted this writing, I was talking to a friend who lives in Eastern Europe. He had nobody witness to him. He came to read the bible after he heard the Lord speak to him one day and went and bought a bible to read. We are truly blessed in this country to have such an abundance of the gospel and others with which to share and draw strength from.
