Forgive, let it go, don’t hold onto it, whatever it is.
One of my co-workers did something very concerning yesterday.
Not sure what I’m going to do about it,
but I certainly don’t want to let what he did fester in my heart.
I need to let that go and do what needs to be done.
Sometimes forgiving is complicated.
God has no provisions for complications.
Jesus wants us to forgive.
He wants us to walk in grace and whatever we do or He directs us to do should not be done through bitterness. Bitterness will taint our perceptions.
Walk in forgiveness.
Don’t give unforgiveness a foothold.
Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
We will be forgiven as we forgive.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses,
neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15
No excuses.
There was a lady about to be stoned to death.
Jesus stopped the event by reminding people to have compassion.
And, by reminding people that He forgives sin.
Leave sin in His hands. He will deal with it.
Forgive and when you can’t, ask Jesus to help you to forgive.
Warn if He prompts you to warn, otherwise, go on about your life
and complete the work He has given you to do.
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32
