People like formulas
They want to systematically solve things
To know what’s ahead, to know what will happen next
Scientists spend their entire lives studying and developing formulas
Knowing that each particle has its place
With God, there are no formulas
He commands things
Love your neighbor as yourself
Carry your cross
Use your talents
Desire the Kingdom of God
They all may sound simple
Much harder than you expect sometimes
Forgive so you’ll be forgiven
Depending on the person, the offense, the situation
It can be hard to let go
God doesn’t accept excuses
He gives us what we need to serve Him
and He requires much from each of us
He is always there for us with more strength, more wisdom, more love, whatever it is we need, God has an endless supply,
if we humble ourselves and seek Him to help our weaknesses
You hear of formulas of man’s doctrine,
many of which are taken straight from the Bible
His word twisted or figured out in one format, that makes a formula
You cannot formulate God’s word.
Jesus is His word and His word is alive
Do not fear is one they teach
That is written in scripture and people make formulas for it

Don’t fear, God is with you
Walk in it
He is with you! Do not fear.
Fear is not trusting in God
But it’s not always that simple
You can’t will yourself not to fear
He has to teach you for it to get deep in your soul
it has to be real to you that Jesus is more powerful
than anyone else and that He cares about you
That doesn’t happen because someone quotes wonderful words,
That word has to be alive and active and sharper than any two-edged sword
Whenever Jesus met someone who did not have faith,
He reached out His hand to meet them
He treated each person differently, yet reached out to them
Doubting Thomas
The disciples in the boat who were afraid they were going to die,
Zaccheus who didn’t understand what it meant to be born again
The man who was demon possessed
The hungry people He fed with a small amount of loaves and fishes
If you’ll notice even His own disciples
who He walked and talked with Him everyday
were unsure about His power and how He could help them
until He showed them
We can know that God is all powerful
but until He really makes it clear to you, it’s only lip service
Getting to know Jesus on a personal level
will help your relationship and your faith to grow
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God
Listen to His word
and let the Holy Spirit teach you and lead you into all truth
