Loving the truth takes humility.
It means setting our own thoughts aside, beneath the Word of God.
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,
saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8-9
The deception is strong on the Earth.
Those who are deceived do not know they are deceived.
Others can see it and if those deceived do not have humility toward the truth,
there is no hope for them to come into the truth.
If they refuse to let that light shine in their darkness,
they risk being stuck in deception.
Some are following men’s doctrine.
That is a detrimental fail. No man should be followed.
I read of a man who had a vision and an angel talked to him.
The angel did not speak the truth, but if you don’t know the truth,
you might not recognize the mistruth and might not be able to find the truth.
But though we, or an angel from heaven,
preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8
The times are getting darker and remember, Satan appears as an angel of light.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2 Cor. 11:14
If Jesus is not elevated in the message. If it does not point to Jesus as the Way,
the Truth and the Life, The message is not truth.
This man who claimed to have seen an angel,
and I have no doubt he saw the angel of light,
that man elevated the angel, not Jesus.
He also elevated himself for being talked to by this angel.
He gave formulas: If you do this, you will then have the results you want.
Maybe the angel will speak again? I wonder what he will say next time?
I wonder if I will get a vision or visit or message from an angel?
We need to seek Jesus, look for Him, listen to Him, stay in His word.
That is where we will find Him.
Scriptural References:
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. John 14:6
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him
that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you,
and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
But though we, or an angel from heaven,
preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I now again,
If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received,
let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:6-9
