God Changes Not

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8

The God of the Old Testament is the same God we serve today
He is not different
Jesus was there throughout the Old Testament
He was and is a part of all creation
God had His reasons for the things He did
It is not up for us to change them
Or condemn them
He did what He did
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts
. Isaiah 55:9
Will you judge God?

He opened up the earth and swallowed whole clans of people
He sent plagues to those who refused to worship Him in Egypt
He also loved those who loved Him with an unfailing love

The fear of the Lord is still the beginning of wisdom
He still allows suffering
He still lets those who choose to follow other gods do so
He still looks on the heart
He still desires obedience

God changes not
