God hears our thoughts. Of course, He is all-knowing, and He zeroes in and listens.
Jesus knew His Father always heard Him.
He said, And I knew that Thou hearest Me always:
but because of the people which stand by I said it,
that they may believe that Thou hast sent Me. John 11:32
Jesus knew that He did not even need to voice His prayers because God knows.
Be not ye therefore like unto them:
for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him. Matthew 6:8
This scripture was right before Jesus taught the disciples how to pray:
The Lord’s Prayer is full of generalities and honor to God in His holiness,
That God’s will is of utmost importance, not our own.
Reminders that Jesus is the Bread of Life in the natural and spiritual.
That we must forgive in order to be forgiven.
To let us not be tempted by the evil one.
And that God reigns gloriously and most powerfully in Heaven and Earth.
Have you ever thought a prayer?
Or have you ever told someone you would pray and then you forgot all about it?
Then you find out that God really did answer that prayer
even if you didn’t officially pray?
I have seen silent prayers answered and those that were just a thought.
God’s grace is infinite.
God has good hearing. He is also listening for those
whose hearts are reaching out to Him.
If we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. That is a given fact.
Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts;
Turn ye unto Me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you,
saith the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 1:3
