I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me:
I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
That they may know from the rising of the sun,
and from the west, that there is none beside me.
I am the Lord, and there is none else. Isaiah 45:5-6
We have been bought with a price
When Jesus chose to be nailed to the cross,
He carried our sins, sorrows and griefs
He rose triumphantly
even though, after they killed Him,
they tried hard to keep Him locked in the tomb
The flesh is no match for the Spirit of God
How people think they can thwart Gods purposes is a marvel
They cannot, no matter how hard they try, no matter what they do
Those who built the Tower of Babel thought they could become one
and accomplish works that God can do
Not so
This is what God said about the Tower of Babel:
And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower,
which the children of men builded. And the Lord said,
Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language;
and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them,
which they have imagined to do.
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language,
that they may not understand one another’s speech. Genesis 11:5-7
Humans now, that is, those who think they’re in charge of the world,
are trying yet again to obtain God’s position in the universe
by creating a one world government,
by use of propaganda and deception,
by linking all technology, media and world leaders to control the people,
not to mention controlling health care and food supplies
because they are trying to be the adopted directors of all flesh
Man makes his plans but the Lord directs His steps
God is always thinking ahead
He knows the end from the beginning
The problem with humans is they were created in the image of God,
that means they have some attributes of God,
such as emotions, a spirit, the ability to design, plan
The list is endless
Like Satan, some might even desire to be like the Most High God
and if they are wicked, they are going to surely try
I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Isaiah 42:8
This is one of the most important statements in the bible,
in my humble opinion: God is not a man, that he should lie;
neither the son of man, that he should repent:
hath he said, and shall he not do it?
or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Numbers 23:19
What God has spoken will come to pass
At times, God shows mercy when people cry out to Him
and that may seem like He changed His mind a few times,
such as the city of Nineveh when the people cried out to Him,
He turned His anger away, but lying is not part of His character
You can be sure that unless God decides to have mercy for His reasons,
what He has spoken will come to pass
Scriptural References:
A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.
Proverbs 16:9
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way;
and God repented of the evil,
that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
Jonah 3:10
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day
according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once;
of whom the greater part remain unto this present,
but some are fallen asleep.
1 Corinthians 15:6
