Jehovah Jireh is the God that provides
If you look to man, you will be greatly disappointed
Not just once
But many times
Humans will fail you
They will disappoint you
They will not understand your needs
Nor will they care about your needs as God does
God is the One who knows all, who sees all,
who understands what you need today and tomorrow and the next day
God knows what you need before you do!
We, as Christians, have no one else to trust
We have to trust God and learn to trust God
and realize that even though we may not have our supply
the way we think we should, we will have what we need
God fed the Israelites with manna from heaven
He fed Elijah with ravens
He will feed us o ye of little faith
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or,
What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Matthew 6:31
We think of our supply
We may have a full pantry,
we may even have hundreds of pounds of food
Our natural supply could dry up or rot or be destroyed or stolen
God knows all of our needs
If we don’t look to Him, where shall we look?
What person can provide the way our Heavenly Father can?
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not,
neither do they reap, nor gather into barns;
yet your heavenly Father feedeth them.
Are ye not much better than they? Matthew 6:26
Walking in faith is not always easy, in fact, is it ever easy?
Not until you get used to it and even then,
it can be trying and God can test us
Do you still trust Me?
I am here, will you still look to Me?
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow:
for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:33-34
Have faith dear ones, He is teaching all of us to trust Him in greater ways
We can gather our wheat and oil but those can run out
Or we may find other needs that come up that we didn’t think of
But my God shall supply all your need
according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
The Bible foretells of famine coming upon the earth
Modern day prophets have prophesied of famine coming upon the earth
Even the worldly experts are predicting famine to come on the earth
They call it drought and food shortages
It means famine
Look to Jesus and no other
For all your needs
When Jesus was in the wilderness, he fasted for 40 days
And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights,
he was afterward an hungred. Matthew 4:2
This is impossible in the natural
Jesus was kept alive miraculously
So, keep in mind, you will have what you need until Jesus comes
or until your time on earth is complete
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea,
I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10
