Without a doubt, God knows our intentions
That can be a good thing when our intentions are right
It is still a good thing when our intentions are not right,
that God knows them,
that He can see through us,
That He can see to the depths of our being
That God sees and knows the intentions of our heart is still a good thing,
even when our intentions are bad,
even when our intentions are for self-serving reasons
It is good because if we are open to what He is teaching us,
to what He is revealing to us about our own hearts,
we can be cleansed and redirect our intentions
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24
It is always good that God knows all things
and it is beneficial to our walk with Him,
that we remember, that we keep in mind,
that our intentions are an open book for Him to see
It is impossible to hide anything from God
So, as He shows, repent, ask Him to help you correct your intentions
The fact of the matter for a Christian,
is that our intentions should always be to further the Kingdom,
to spread the gospel, to exalt Jesus
Always
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth;
even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. Proverbs 3:12
Welcome His Spirit, Who is shining in the dark parts of your heart
Let Him cleanse you, purify you, make you more like Him
Be open if Jesus shows you a flaw in your intentions
His eyes are ever-roaming throughout the earth
He is always looking on the heart
If we find out hearts are exposed, and that He can see a spot,
welcome that
Ask Him to help you deal with it and thank Him that you have ears to hear
For the word of God is quick, and powerful,
and sharper than any twoedged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
