You know how it is, people ask you how you’re doing,
you answer, “fine”
This could be for many reasons,
Fine is the easiest answer
If you answer with some answer that is lesser than fine,
they might ask for an explanation
They might be really wanting to know or maybe not
Some care, some don’t,
some just don’t have time
Some don’t have the capability to help you,
or the desire to deal with your situation if you are less than fine
That’s okay, they can’t help it
Or even if they can, it’s not about you, it’s about them
Jesus really does want to know how you’re doing
And, He has the time
And He cares, truly
And He has the answers if you are sad
and rejoices with you if you are happy
or even if you are extra happy
There is no human jealousy
He just rejoices
Or cares
Or takes your burden that you may bring
Maybe He doesn’t walk up to you and ask, How are you?
But, He’s always there, always hoping you’ll share your heart with Him
Always hoping to be a part of your life
Always there for you In whatever circumstances you may be in
He is always listening, waiting, caring,
Hoping to be included in your life
Love hopes all things, believes all things, endures all things
He truly loves you
and wants what’s best for you
He made you
Jesus is near to those who call upon Him in truth
He has answers, solutions for whatever vexes you
He offers His hand
His faith is a gift for you when you need it
Salvation for those farther away from Him
He has it all and understands every single, solitary thing you go through, whether big or little
Give it a try
Remember, caring about others is the same as caring for Him
You might even ask Him how He’s doing
Show Him you care
I wonder what His answer to that would be?
