And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth
not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s,
and He will give you into our hands. 1 Samuel 17:47
When you have been treated unfairly and it seems the enemy has won,
The Battle belongs to the Lord.
If you can stand before the Lord with right intentions and a pure heart,
the enemy has not won.
The Lord will repay those who have wronged you.
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
Luke 6:28
Forget about it?
It can be difficult to forget about it, especially when you have reminders.
You might keep seeing that person, maybe you work with them, or maybe,
they are your neighbor or you have some other affiliation with them.
Maybe they are are even a relative.
Whatever the case, God will not let the wicked triumph.
He will deal with them.
Be careful never to wish evil upon them:
Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth,
and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
Lest the Lord see it, and it displease Him,
and He turn away His wrath from him. Proverbs 24:17-18
The Living God is strong in battle and mighty in deed.
When His people came before Him and asked Him about various battles,
God let them know whether or not He wanted them to go forth.
Sometimes they didn’t win at first,
they still sought the Lord and trusted Him.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink:
for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Romans 12:20
Keep your heart pure before the Lord, keep your hands clean.
God will repay those who have risen against you with evil intentions.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21
