I am going to quote several scriptures. In each one, you will see His Promises and Our Responsibility as believers. We have exhortations from the Lord, responsibility in faith. Faith without works is dead. Our God is able to teach us all by His Holy Spirit. We have no mediator but Christ between God and man. I think this will be an interesting exercise. Enjoy His word as we explore it with this idea in mind.
Behold, I am coming quickly!
Hold fast what you have,
that no one may take your crown. Revelation 3:11
Our Responsibility- Hold onto our crowns, hold on tight to what you have
His Promises- I am coming quickly
For if ye forgive men their trespasses,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you: Matthew 6:14
Our Responsibility- forgive men their trespasses
His Promises- your Heavenly Father will forgive you
Give, and it shall be given unto you;
good measure, pressed down, and shaken together,
and running over, shall men give into your bosom.

Honour thy father and thy mother:

which the Lord thy God giveth thee. Exodus 20:12
Our Responsibility- Honor our father and mother
His Promises- that our days may be long
Because he loves Me,
I will deliver him; because he knows My name,
I will protect him. Psalm 91:14
Our Responsibility- love Him & know His name, know who He is
His Promises- I will deliver him and protect him
If ye be willing and obedient,
ye shall eat the good of the land Isaiah 1:19
Our Responsibility- Be willing and Obedient
His Promises- We will eat the good of the land
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
Our Responsibility- Wait on the Lord
His Promises- renew their strength; mount up with wings as eagles;

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed;

I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10
Our Responsibility- Do not fear, do not be dismayed
His Promises- I will strengthen you, help you, and uphold you
with the right hand of My righteousness
And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee;
he will be with thee, he will not fail thee,
neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Deuteronomy 31:8
Our Responsibility- fear not, neither be dismayed
His Promises- He goes before you, He will be with you,
He will not fail you nor forsake you,
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew 11:29
Our Responsibility- Take his yoke, learn of Him
His Promises- You will find rest for your soul
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God,
that giveth to all men liberally,
and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5
Our Responsibility- ask God for wisdom
His Promises- gives wisdom to all men liberally, without holding back
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord,
and he shall lift you up. James 4:10
Our Responsibility- Humble ourselves before God
His Promise- He will lift us up
If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Our Responsibility- Confess our sins,
His Promise- He forgives us and cleanses us
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Our Responsibility- Believe on Him
His Promises- Not perish, have everlasting life
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17
Our Responsibility- To be righteous and cry out to the Lord
His Promises- The Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles
Delight thyself also in the Lord;
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:4
Our Responsibility- Delight in the Lord
His Promise- He will give you the desires of your heart
And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32
Our Responsibility- Know the Truth
His Promise- The Truth shall make you free
