Good vs Good

We think this is good or that is good.
Our ideas of what is good
and God’s ideas of what is good can be very different.
That is, until we learn to discern and weigh and measure by His word.
I have heard people speak of another person: They have a good heart
We cannot see hearts.
We do not decide who is good and who is not.
Our measurement is the word of God
and even then our judgment is deficient.
What we humans, we fleshly beings, consider good is not good at all.
Unless we are looking at things through God’s Word and His judgment,
we are putting flesh, what we see and know, above the spiritual realm.
Even if we think we are judging according to the Word of God,
we cannot see the hearts of the persons
to whom we are deciding if their actions are good, or not.
The best thing is to be gracious and try to not judge others as far as their hearts or intentions or thoughts which we have no way of knowing.

Jesus said we will be judged as we judge others.
I have heard some condemn others to Hell.
Who is the Only One who casts persons into Hell?
Our Living God, Jesus Christ.
All other judgments are faulty.
God will send His angels to gather the wheat and toss out the chaff.
And God Himself will cast those found unworthy into the Lake of Fire.
Do you really want to make that decision for God when you only see partially?

Step down and let God be God.
Let Him prove others.
Pray for those you think are failing or having a difficult time
staying on the straight and narrow.
It might be very helpful to ask the Lord for compassion and love
especially for those who exhibit lack of love.
Let not your heart become bitter or cold.
Jesus told us: And because iniquity shall abound,
the love of many shall wax cold
. Matthew 24:12
Keep that love warm by allowing the Holy Spirit to keep your judgments gentle and merciful and let God deal with those who are difficult.
Wish them well and not evil.
Eternity is a very long time.
