Keep Jesus at the center of all you do, of all you think, of all you consider.
Jesus is worthy of all.
He shows us His glory for us to share.
So all the people you know and meet can see what He has done in your life.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16
What good works?
People get confused about good works.
Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work. John 4:34
The work is God’s work and it glorifies God.
I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest Me to do. John 17L4
And Whose light?
Those things we do to honor the Father and Jesus Christ His Son.
The works of God have a spiritual significance.
They might be a physical need for someone, for example, feeding the poor.
Feeding the poor because you know it pleases Jesus is spiritually significant.
We do God’s work but we are not to boast about it.
God is glorified through what we do for Him.
The gospel is about Gods love and goodness, His forgiveness and acceptance is a message to be spread.
Jesus’ ways excel and breathe life into us so He can help us make it to the other side.
I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course; I have kept the faith.
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord,
the righteous Judge, shall give me on that Day, and not to me only,
but unto all those also who love His appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
His richness and grace upon humankind are for us to learn,
then for us to extend what we have learned about Him so others may be gathered to Him and HIs ways.
