Graciousness.
Like consciousness but with grace.
Let us have graciousness.
Grace.
Toward others.
Toward those who frustrate you.
Toward those who treat you less than.
Toward those who do you wrong.
Let us think graciousness.
Even in our thoughts, let us be gracious.
We will be judged according to the measure we judge
and according to the standard we have toward others.
For with what judgment ye judge,
ye shall be judged:
and with what measure ye mete,
it shall be measured to you again. Matthew 7:2
We would be wise to be gracious.
Because when we stand before God
or when we go about our life thinking this or thinking that about others,
what we sow, so shall we reap.
Sow righteousness for yourselves,
reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground;
for it is time to seek the Lord
until He comes and showers His righteousness on you. Hosea 10:12
Have grace.
Be gracious.
Show love.
Extend forgiveness.
Give and it shall be given unto you.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Matthew 5:7
Let us be mindful that not everyone has the same capabilities that we have,
the same strengths, the same morals, the same level of character.
God is their judge.
He knows what their background is,
how they have become the person they are,
if they are working with Him to improve, or not.
We can trust that Jesus will repay anyone who has wronged us
in the best way possible,
ways that we never thought of.
The ultimate hope is that they will learn
and grow closer to the Lord in the process.
That won’t always happen.
Even that thought is graciousness.
Letting God be God
and for us to take our rightful position,
knowing no matter what happens,
God will work things out for our good.
