Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer:
and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15
Hate takes over.
It is like a disease.
It has its own mind.
It seeks to destroy.
Its methods are sure.
Destruction and death are its delight.
It gobbles.
It ruins.
There is no room for hate in the heart of a Christian.
We must be careful not to justify hate.
It lingers and taunts and tries to get us to follow its ways.
Justifying its actions and its thoughts.
We can hate evil, but never the person in whom the evil dwells.
God will repay evil deeds and those who have harmed us, or anyone.
His judgments are righteous and true.
Holding onto what has happened to us is not what God asks of us.
Jesus tells us to forgive and to love.
Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time,
Thou shalt not kill;
and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
But I say unto you,
That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause
shall be in danger of the judgment:
and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Matthew 5:21-22
When that hate starts to rise in your mind,
seek the Lord for strength to forgive and to love.
There is no justification for hatred.
It will only lead to the depths of Hell.
