When you are sleeping, He is working
When you are encountering a problem,
one that you are asking Him to solve or how to solve,
He was already working, He knew it was coming up,
He has the answer
And we know that all things work together for good
to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
All things together for our good?
Yes, all things together for our good
That means, you mess up, He can fix it,
Someone else messes up your world somehow,
Jesus has a way to make it turn around
Let it go and remember this verse
He is working
If we look at the many ways
God changed around events in the bible for His prophets…
The first one that comes to mind
is when Jezebel was wanting to kill Elijah
She killed several of God’s prophets
She wanted to kill Elijah
Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying,
So let the gods do to me, and more also,
if I make not thy life as the life of one of them
by to morrow about this time. 1 Kings 19:2
This is what eventually happened to her:
And they went to bury her:
but they found no more of her than the skull,
and the feet, and the palms of her hands.
Wherefore they came again, and told him.
And he said, This is the word of the Lord,
which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying,
In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:
And the carcase of Jezebel
shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel;
so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel. 1 Kings 9:35-37
Remember when Herod was trying to kill baby Jesus?
So much so that he had all the babies killed,
trying to make sure Jesus didn’t survive
God had other plans
When the Israelites were fleeing Egypt, God made sure they made it
When Noah was the only good guy left, God gave him an out
Because the wickedness was reaching to heaven,
God spared the few good ones that were left in Sodom and Gomorrah
He used Joseph’s situation of being sold into slavery by his own brothers
to save his whole family later during the famine
There are all sorts of examples throughout the scriptures that prove that Jesus can supersede any situation and turn it for the good of His people
Whether your situation is as big as someone pursuing you to take your life,
He has the answer, He can fix the situation and turn it around
to make it work together for good
I can’t tell you how many times
I have seen God work out an impossible situation for my good
Put your difficult situations in His hands and watch Him work
