If it is hidden how do we see it?
Satan hides in plain sight
He lies and twists and connives
He says just take a step closer, a little closer to the edge
Discernment is helpful
Keeping your eyes on Jesus a must
Meditating on His word
Learning His precepts and loving the truth
Find out Satan’s craftiness in the word
His subtle charms and wooing us to serve him,
to turn victims against the Lord God of Israel, the maker of Heaven and Earth
It didn’t take much for the Israelites to make a Molten Calf
After all the Lord had done, parting the Red Sea
and delivering them from Pharaoh and the plagues,
Moses was gone for a few days, spending time with the Lord
Then Aaron, his own brother gave in,
he caved to the whiners who wanted a god to serve
and thus, the golden calf was made and they started to worship it
We think it was horrible, but we can fall into the same trap
They got off track pretty quickly
without Moses reminding them how great the Lord is
We, too, must be reminded how great the Lord is each and every day,
each and every moment
We need to seek the Lord continuously and meaningfully
Our adversary the devil roars about seeking whom he may devour
He is charming and so deceitful
A mom told me yesterday she tells her daughter of evil
but lets her choose to partake if she so chooses
Really?
The devices of the devil are crafty and smooth
You’ll be boiled quicker than you know as you get led astray
He lies and tricks and cheats
Hath God said?
Well, this is what He meant when He said that
The devil is right there, in front of our eyes,
waiting for us to remove ourselves from the covering of the Lord
Concentrate on Jesus and let His word dwell in you richly
The wiles of the devil are there
Carrying our cross is a real effort we must make,
putting aside the wickedness of Satan
and those people who have chosen to follow him
who also compel us to join them
Scriptural References:

which the Lord God had made.
And he said unto the woman,
Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent,
We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden,
God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof,
then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods,
knowing good and evil.
