Sometimes it is so hard to know what God wants you to do
He who opens doors that no man can shut and shuts doors no man can open
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write;
These things saith He that is holy, He that is true,
He that hath the key of David, He that openeth, and no man shutteth;
and shutteth, and no man openeth; Revelation 3:7
The Israelites had a cloud and fire to follow,
to know when God was directing them
And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud,
to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire,
to give them light; to go by day and night: Exodus 13:21
And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning,
and that the cloud was taken up in the morning,
then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night
that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.
Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year,
that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon,
the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not:
but when it was taken up, they journeyed. Numbers 9:21-22
Gideon made a fleece before the Lord, He asked for conformation
Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor;
and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside,
then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. Judges 6:37
Sometimes you just know
Sometimes, you need confirmation,
sometimes you just have to wait it out until God makes things clear for you
The steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. Psalm 37:23
Sometimes we get impatient, we’re not sure
and we need to know Now
but God isn’t saying anything
Draw near to Him
Don’t be in a hurry
He will make His will known to you if you are seeking it
Ask, and it shall be given you;
seek, and ye shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth;
and he that seeketh findeth;
and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7-8
