How many more?
How many more days do we have on this earth, Lord?
How many more mornings to sing your praises?
How many more chances do we have to reach the lost?
How many more times do we have to pray
and how many moments left to fill up our hearts with your word?
How many, Lord?
How many chances do we have to do what is right?
To use our talents for Your glory?
To speak a good exhortation to someone?
How many more times do we get to treat others like they are us?
Or to do this unto the least of these as we would treat You?
How much more time do we have to use our talents for Your sake?
To comfort those who mourn?
To be your hands and your feet to those who are suffering?
Not turning our ear from those who are needing help?
To visit those in prison or ill?
To teach and preach the gospel?
How much more time do we have? Does it matter?
People are so calloused.
Do they even hear or care or listen?
Let our love not grow cold.
Keep our fire hot and bright and our salt salty and savory.
Let us live as You would have us to live and flow with Your love.
Let us bring Your peace and joy with us wherever we go.
Let us not grow tired in well-doing.
How many more people will there be before the doors are shut?
Before the end of the world is upon us?
How many more?
May we count each soul as precious as You do
and care for the unsaved as much as our measly hearts are able
and to extend Your truth to them in this dying world.

“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” Hebrews 3:15
