How much time are we supposed to spend with the Lord each day?
Ask Him
If you are constantly seeking His face and listening to the Holy Spirit,
He will make it clear to you
He will show you and tell you how much time in prayer,
how much time He wants to spend with you in addition to prayer time
and how much time He wants you to spend reading His word
It is up to you to obey and not make excuses
and to make sure you keep Jesus as your priority
When You said, “Seek My face,”
My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.” Psalm 27:8
Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore! Psalm 105:4
It takes discipline and self-control
One of the most severe ways to discipline your flesh is to fast
Cut yourself off from pleasures, pleasures of the body and mind
Seek God instead of your belly and your favorite shows or social media,
and let go of filling your time with the pleasures of the world
Self-discipline is hard to come by
God will honor it
The more time you spend in the Kingdom, that is,
at the foot of God’s throne, the less time you will want to spend in the world
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33
