The answer to that is with Christ alone. Find out from Him.
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed,
not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,
work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12
If you lose the fear of God, you will lose your salvation.
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 10:28
If you have no fear of God, then, you can do whatever it is you want.
That is not what the Bible teaches.
We have to take salvation very seriously.
Part of walking with Christ is denying ourselves.
Spreading His word.
Caring for the poor, the widows and the orphans.
Being like the Good Samaritan and loving God and people in His name.
There will be many who will be turned away when they come before Jesus.
Would you rather know now or would you rather learn then that you missed it?
Not every one that saith unto Me,
Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7:21
We know from this verse that
we need to do the will of His Father who is in Heaven.
It is up to each of us to find out what that means.
Jesus warns us many times that different acts can keep us from Heaven.
Find out what those are and keep on the straight and narrow.
Stay close to Jesus and read His word.
He will help you to repent and learn along the way.
Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you.
There will be no confusion as He leads us and guides us into all truth.
Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come,
He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself;
but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak:
and He will shew you things to come. John 16:13
There are a few warnings that come to mind, but these are limited.
There are many warnings throughout His word.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses,
neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15
Wherefore I say unto you,
All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
Matthew 12:31
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words
in this adulterous and sinful generation;
of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed,
when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels. Mark 8:38
There are many such truths.
What happens if you fail? The Bible is clear:
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Jesus walks with us, to help us. When we ask Him for help, He will.
He strengthens us and will give us what we need to follow Him wholeheartedly. He is not looking to see us fail, but we cannot take Him for granted.
Walk in His grace and He will be gracious to you.
If you demand salvation, that will not work.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8
Salvation is a gift, not a right.
He wants to give Salvation to us, but it is not ours to take or to be entitled to.
