How do you get faith?
You can’t wish it
You can’t force it
You can’t hope it into being
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17
For I say, through the grace given unto me,
to every man that is among you,
not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think;
but to think soberly,
according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Romans 12:3
Each one of us is dealt a measure of faith
Cultivate it
God will cause it to grow if you exercise what little faith you have
Think of the mustard seed
And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed,
ye might say unto this sycamine tree,
Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea;
and it should obey you. Luke 17:6
If you find you are lacking faith, Read the Word of God
Jesus is the word
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,

The Word testifies of God Himself
Read it
Study it
Listen to it
Heed it
Spend time on it, in it
Realize it
Let it become a part of you, of your heart, of your thoughts
Ask the Holy Spirit to open it to you
Ask Him to help you decipher it
Ask for understanding
Ask for clarity
Ask for wisdom
Think on it
Open your heart and let the Word live inside
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another
in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16
Humble yourself before the Word
Honor it
Fear it
Absorb it
Cling to it
Meditate upon it
Memorize it
Shout it
Sing it
Pray it
Remind yourself of it, let God know you know it, with humility
For the word of God is quick, and powerful,
and sharper than any twoedged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
Desire it
Let it cleanse your innards
Let it shine in you and through you
Let it shine to enlighten your understanding
To help you to see which way to go
Your word is lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because,
when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us,
ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth,
the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

Let it work in you
Let His Word rule your heart, yield your intentions to His Word
Do not resist it
Do not change the Word
Humble yourself before it
When you like what it says and when you don’t
