Go before the throne of God
Ask for wisdom
f any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally,
and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5
Ask for guidance
Listen
Learn
Learn about Jesus and His ways
Learn how to hear from Him
Learn His word and study what He has done in the past
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: John 10:27
It is good not to be afraid
It is also good to trust in Him
The knowledge you hold is for a purpose
The things you have found out about are for a reason
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
What are your skills?
What are your abilities?
What can you share with others?
What can you contribute?
Ask Him to show you what you can do
None of us can do it all, but we can all do something
We have to begin somewhere
Even small things can be helpful
To ignore the signs and the seasons or to refuse wisdom could be detrimental
If you do not have the means, ask Him
Ask Him how you can rearrange your priorities
God is the God of the impossible
Make sure you are giving what He asks of you
Giving to others, giving to ministries
Put Jesus first in everything
You cannot go wrong with that
And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth;
and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Luke 11:9-10
Set aside the things you think are most important
Ask Him to reset your priorities
Ask Him to teach you what matters
Ask Him to help you be very wise in these times
If the store shelves go empty, what are your plans?
If water stops coming out of the faucets, how will you survive?
We also must be careful not to trust in our own plans
Or to trust in ourselves
The Israelites could only carry so much when they left Egypt
The Lord met them and provided for them, but not the way they wanted
The longed for the things they had when they were in Egypt
We will likely feel the same
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal,
but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations,
and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,
and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2 Corinthians 10:4-5
The most important thing is to be in tune with the Lord
Let Him speak to you about what is coming
Let Him teach you how to be ready
Many of us will be stripped of what we consider ours
Jesus remains our provider no matter what the circumstances
How do you prepare for what is coming?
The answer is quite simple: Seek Him
