Many people cannot understand the bible.
That is because though it is a book, its meaning is spiritual.
If you try to understand the bible with human logic, you will be forever befuddled. and perplexed.
Many have not actually read it or perhaps just read parts of it.
it is easy to dismiss the Bible if you consider it just a book, just some words written down on paper,
passed down from generation to generation.
The fact of the matter is that the bible is God written down in word form.
The words in the bible are powerful.
Jesus cast out demons with His word.
He created the world with His words.
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. John 1:1
Without faith, it will be impossible to hear and understand God’s word.
There are so many false claims that try to dismiss the Bible.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away. Matthew 24:35
So, the next time you think you cannot understand something in the Bible,
ask for the Holy Spirit to help you see, hear and understand.
If you try to understand it with your human logic, you will miss the point.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16
The Word of God, the Bible, is God Breathed and inspired by Him, protected by Him
and fashioned to share with humankind the very heart of God.
